♫ new music friday 9/25/26

new music from ⟢ Madonna & Charli xcx, Tame Impala & Fcukers, Tinashe, Jae Stephens, M83, Phoebe Bridgers, 2hollis, Perfume Genius, Rex Orange County…

Madonna’s “Danceteria” remix with Charli is one of my favorites so far. i expected them to change up the production a lot more, but they kept so much of what i already loved about the song. we also got Fcukers’ remix of Tame Impala’s “Loser.” love these two artists but i was so confused by this one, the tempo doesn’t really match the vocals just not what i expected… :|

Tinashe’s ‘Popstar’ is definitely a standout. i’ve really liked all the singles leading up to the album, and it’s so well produced. i love how she mixes electronic music and rnb in a way that sounds distinctly hers at this point. favorite new tracks so far are “Empty Stadium” and “Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore”

i still have Jae Stephens’ and UCHE YARAs albums and a lot of the singles to spend more time with this weekend. what’s been standing out to you so far? 🎧
