new music from ⟢ Miley Cyrus, Tove Lo, Carly Rae Jepsen, beabadoobee, Boy Harsher, Troye Sivan, Beck, ROSÉ, AZ Chike, Kim Petras, Yeat & Drake, Travis Scott…

so many albums this week, but that’s always a good problem to have. based on first listens Boy Harsher’s album is probably my favorite so far. this band continues to be underrated, definitely worth your time. the Night side of Carly Rae Jepsen’s double album is another standout for me. it’s such a great, cohesive dance record from start to finish with really beautiful production.

Troye Sivan’s new song “Party” samples Madonna’s “Music” and it is so catchy. there are parts of it that remind me a lot of “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred. sounds very early ’90s dance. Tove Lo’s new album also has some really great moments, with “roomie” and “die for my art with a lonely heart” standing out to me immediately. Miley had a few standouts for me as well, especially “Orbit” and “Different Religion” these need to be singles!

still have a lot to sit with this week. what are you listening to first? 🎧
