i love Tierra Whack’s new album ‘WHACK’S MUSEUM’. she had one of my favorite features on Jill Scott’s album and her 2018 project ‘Whack World’ still goes hard. this new album feels like a rap mixtape that’s constantly changing shape, with sharp storytelling, personality and genuinely great production. one of the most creative voices in hip hop right now.

also really excited to hear Majid Jordan back. they continue to be one of the most underrated duos in music for me. every new album announcement from them immediately has my attention.

we also have a brief new EP from Big Freedia and SOPHIE. i’ve always loved SOPHIE’s production in a rap/crunk context, so hearing those SOPHIE beats collide with Freedia’s energy feels like a perfect match. definitely worth a listen.
