♫ new music friday 10/9/26

new music from ⟢ Troye Sivan, Slayyyter, Remi Wolf, horsegiirL, METTE, Current Joys, Goldie Boutilier, Rochelle Jordan, Dawn Richard…

Troye’s ‘She’s the Best’ is one of my favorites this week. a lot of textures and sounds here that i really wasn’t expecting to hear, there’s some electronica, trip hop, and even breakbeat moments. really enjoyed hearing him try all of this, and it’s the album i’m most excited to spend more time with this weekend.

Remi Wolf’s album also had some standout moments on first listen, especially “Yellow Rose” and “Burn Me Blue.” METTE and Current Joys have albums worth checking out as well, plus we got some really great deluxe albums from Arlo Parks and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Slayyyter’s “i think he’s got a girl” is probably my second favorite so far from her three recent releases. the chorus is extremely catchy. excited to spend more time with all of these this weekend!
