i’ve been revisiting a lot of the dance music i grew up hearing my older siblings play. songs that were everywhere at parties, songs that somehow never left my memory.

“It Feels So Good” by Sonique is one of my favorite songs of all time. i still remember where i was when i first heard it. this song blew my damn mind and honestly hasn’t lost an ounce of its magic since. i prefer the 12” breakbeat mix over the original, the way her vocals around the 4:00 mark isolate and blend back into the chorus is unreal.
