my favorite sets from Coachella pt. 2 🎡

caught up to more sets from weekend 1 and after watching most of the weekend, my top 3 are Slayyyter, Nine Inch Noize, and FKA twigs.

Slayyyter had the breakout set of the entire weekend for me. for the last few years there’s always that one performance that feels like a rite of passage into superstardom and this is definitely hers. HIGHLY recommend watching this set… 45 minutes of pure energy and vocals start to finish, at 3pm with a crowd at capacity is insane. Also stream WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA + check out my album review 💲

Nine Inch Noize had the best production on this set, it was unreal… each song just sounded massive, clean, and intentional in a way that really translated through the stream. it felt immersive the entire time, like every track had its own story. performance-wise they didn’t miss either, just a really tight and powerful set front to back. easily one of the best sounding sets of the weekend.

FKA twigs was probaly the most fully realized set of the weekend. her and the dancers were locked in the entire time, choreography was incredible and honestly the highlight of the set for me. “Cellophane” live hit exactly how i hoped it would. had a lot fomo kicking in knowing she was supposed to perform last year, but watching this from home still delivered in every way.
